Yoga

Yoga is an ancient practice developed in India almost 4,000 years ago. In the last decade yoga has become increasingly popular in the west, and currently, about 15 million people in the United Stated do yoga.

121 trainers will eliminate the mysteries of ancient yoga poses and terminology bringing clients the benefit of yoga and meditation with user-friendly techniques which are practical, understandable, and doable for any fitness level.

Yoga is designed to improve the health, performance, and mental acuity of athletes or individuals interested in improving their level of fitness. Based on the ancient fitness science of hatha yoga, it blends balance, strength, flexibility and power.

In order to gain this strength and flexibility, you can do a variety of different yoga positions or poses - each of which has specific physical benefits. The poses can be done either quickly in succession, creating heat in the body through movement, or more slowly to increase stamina and perfect the alignment of the pose.

Yoga is constantly changing, which means that it never gets dull or boring. Although the yoga poses do not change, your relationship and abilities will.

Meditation

Meditationis also an important step in the “practice of yoga”. To properly meditate learn to turn your mind inwards and focus your mental energy. People who meditate regularly find that it clears their mind and allows them to think in a positive manner.
